number work

I've spent all week doing work that doesn't involve writing. It has been extremely refreshing. Although it's really just busy-work (data entry mostly) and it's a tad boring, it's so nice to be productive without having to bash out 1000s of words.

It's also meant that I've been able to get out of the house more. When I write I try to stay home because uni is too distracting, too social. But I need some software that's on my uni computer to work with my data, so I've been at uni 3 days running. It's been really nice. It feels like the old days.

I'm listening to The Eels, The Waifs and John Butler while I work with these numbers today. Such a nice way to work.
