I'm betting on emails from Louise and Liz* within 24 hours....
Yeah...spontaneous. Because that's my middle name. I'm always so carefree and reckless and all about the fun and not taking life too seriously, so I thought I'd continue in that vein and take an irresponsible holiday.
In my defense, the flights are ridiculously cheap and some of my friends are going to be in and around NYC in July, and I need a deadline and a break. Beth and maybe Langa-G are coming along, we'll see some others when we get there.
I've wanted to go to NYC ever since I first started watching Friends and Felicity in high school. Since then I've consumed as many movies, TV shows, and books set in New York as possible (a little like my more recent Berlin fascination). I'm so, so excited.
Start spreading the news....
*I'll be back well and truly for the wedding Liz, and won't be missing any wedding-related events
