You know you don't have too many friends when being stuck in traffic for 2 hours with a couple of women you barely know turns out to be the social highlight of your weekend.
I'm not complaining, honestly. I went to see Leaving last night as part of the French Film Festival in Melbourne, took myself out for breaky with a paper for company this morning, and also bought food for the week at the local farmer's market. All extremely pleasant, joy-inducing activities that I like doing on my own.
I'm merely observing that the peaks of my current social schedule resemble the troughs of my previous social schedule.
