Some of my friends have blogs that I like reading. I never comment on them and it's pretty much done in secret, but I've often thought it is a good way to process thoughts and let people in on what's important (or trivial) in your life. With a pending o/s adventure, I thought starting something of my own would be a good idea...for myselt at least, even if no-one else reads it.
So welcome to my [somewhat censored] online journal. Enjoy...or not. Participate...or not. We'll see how long I last at this...
I think I was prompted to action with starting this blog this weekend because it has been a weekend of simple pleasures and no busyness, meaning I have time and headspace to do things I don't normally do. A bbq with good friends, a sleep in and a Saturday paper (we're all going to die from climate-change related disaters, by the way), and dinner and a movie catching up with mum and dad. So simple. Very pleasant. But is there something wrong with me that somewhere inside of me I have a drive to be busier and "achieve" more, even on a Saturday? Maybe tomorrow... ;-)
