Today I spent more than 4 hours on trains. I got heaps of reading done and enjoyed the time to myself. On the return trip home I shamefully pretended I was getting off the train at Waterfall, but instead changed carriages because of a group of extremely loud and inappropriate middle-aged women chatting about their Sexpo experiences. I can only assume they were drunk based on their behaviour. At least, I hope they were drunk. The carriage I moved to was equally as noisy with a large group of teenagers, but I quite enjoyed listening to them chat. I was trying to get some hard reading done so quietness would have been more productive, but I quite enjoyed their company, even if I didn't interact with them at all.
Tonight I made spaghetti and meatballs for myself and a couple of others, then I went out with a great old friend and a great new friend and ate creme brulee and drank a macchiato and laughed a lot about embarrassing mistakes, such as that time I fell down in the middle of the food court at uni. That time was Friday, so it is still a fresh source of amusement for my friends.
