Last funny of the day...
A student was talking about previous research into fatalistic explanations of poverty. Instead of using the word "fatalistic" this poor student wrote "fallic". Twice.
I corrected the word, and then also wrote a note on their paper to look up the meaning of the word "phallic" to understand why I thought this was an unusual and humorous term to be using in a social psychology paper.
