I'm so vague

Was at a friend's place after church with lots of other people, but I prised myself away early because there were things I wanted to get ready for the working week, and there was some reading I wanted to do. I walked out at 9:50pm, so proud of myself for exercising such self control, and I was thinking how productive I was going to be for the rest of the night. They say pride comes before a fall.

I was wandering up this dark, deserted street towards my car, fumbling around in my handbag for my keys. I couldn't find them so I was shaking my handbag trying to listen for the jingle. I shook, but no jingle. I walked the rest of the way to my car hoping I'd just left the keys in the house. But as I peered in the window of my car I saw my keys sitting smugly in the ignition.

I called the NRMA (for the first time since March! I think that's a personal record), and then called some friends who hadn't left yet to keep me company in the dark while I waited for the NRMA man. We had good chats sitting on the boot of my car in the quiet. So it was worth it.

I've just walked in the door, and it's now 11:10 and I've lost motivation to do any of the things I wanted to get home early for.
