normalcy

If there is such a thing, it is returning to my life. I'm in Lee and Me with my laptop, that's normal. I'm drinking a skim cappuccino, that's normal too. Ben Harper is playing, and that's normal. One of my community table friends is here too, studying. Normal. Routine and familiarity can be so comforting. No suprises, nothing unexpected, just everything as it should be, everything just as it was when you left it. I needed that.
